Let's Celebrate Retro!

Historically, at least in recent years, there have been exciting retro events at each NAIC - having drawn countless players together to celebrate the greatest TCG of all time. Each one run by amazing individuals that sought to spread the joy of retro with others, each more memorable than the last. This year however, with no previous organizers set to return, we're taking this opportunity to fill in the gap. And who better than THE LARGEST retro website in the world!

At this year's North American International Championships, PTCG Legends will be hosting two retro events in the New Orleans Convention Center! Play for cool prizes and mark your place in history - as all players will be archived here on PTCG Legends! But whether you want to compete (free to play) or spectate, we welcome all players from around the world to come hang out with us!

When: Thursday, June 6

Time: TBD (Currently set at 12pm on Limitless, likely to change.)

Where: New Orleans Convention Center

The exact spot is TBD. We already have a couple locations within the venue in mind and have confirmed with the convention center staff areas we can use, so fear not, we'll make it happen!

Entry: FREE

Registration: Link

Proxies: Printed proxies and cards of any language ARE allowed.

World Championship cards are also allowed, as long as sleeves are not see-through if mixed with real or Japanese cards. Resources:

Structure: Best of 1 Swiss - 35 minute rounds

No Ties (When time is called, +3 turns and at the end of the third turn, the player with fewer prizes wins. If still tied on prizes - next to take a prize card wins.)

Prizes: TBA

It's been ten-years since the World Championships was held in Washington D.C. for the first time!
